GAMELOFT EXECUTIVES TO SPEAK AT KEY MOBILE & TECH CONFERENCES

 

Gameloft, a leading global publisher of digital and social games, today announced that the company’s executives will be participating as featured speakers at two leading mobile and tech conferences in November, 2011.  

On November 3 at 4:25pm, Gameloft’s VP publishing for the Americas Baudouin Corman will participate at this year’s Open Mobile Summitin San Francisco, California, a mobile, Internet and wireless conference exploring how to build and monetize the open mobile Internet. Corman will be speaking as part of a panel on “App Store 2.0:  Lessons in discovery and monetization,” moderated by Connected Planet’s Kevin Fitchard. Corman will also be seated alongside industry thought leaders such as Boku’s Ron Hirson and Opera’s Mahi de Silva as they address the state of the app store through various topics including cloud computing, discovery tools and monetization.

On November 5at 1:30pm, Gameloft’s VP of production for the Americas Samir El Agili will participate at Harvard Business School’s 17thannual Cyberposiumin Boston, Massachusetts, the largest MBA technology conference in the world. El Agili will be speaking as part of a panel focused on the implications of current trends in mobile gaming, moderated by NextView Ventures’ Rob Go. El Agili will also be seated alongside gaming luminaries such as Zynga’s Justin Cinicolo, TinyCo’s Jennifer Lu, PocketGem’s Harlan Crystal, as they address emerging trends in the mobile gaming industry through topics including the freemium business model, tablet gaming, and emerging multiplayer and social features.

Together, Corman and El Agili spearhead a number of fronts for Gameloft’s North and Latin American markets while boasting over 13 years of mobile and gaming experience. Current responsibilities range from leading the Gameloft’s publishing efforts to overseeing the management of Gameloft’s studios and maintaining accountability for a production staff of over 800 employees.
