Strap on your armor, take up your sword, and prepare for battle – we're going to be showing off some Iron Blade gameplay this week!

Update: Iron Blade is out now. Download the game for free.

An exclusive reveal

Tune in to the Gameloft Facebook page from 4PM GMT on Thursday, 18th May for an exclusive gameplay reveal of our action-packed new title. A fantasy RPG, set in medieval times, Iron Blade brings together classic hack'n'slash action with a brilliantly intuitive, touch-based combat system.

Missed the stream? Watch it now.

The action is fast and furious. Knowing where the next attack will come from, and adapting your strategy to dominate multiple foes is essential. There are hundreds of weapons, customization options, and combinations waiting to be mastered, plus you'll also need to be sharp as an arrow if you want to prevent the world from plunging into darkness!

You'll be able to see all of this in action on Thursday, as I play through the game's opening few levels, introducing you to this medieval world, stuffed with myth and monsters. But this is just the start of things to come. Tune for information on the game's launch, coming soon to iOS, Android, and Windows. You can also expect another epic dose of Iron Blade gameplay at launch too.

Remember to pre-register for epic loot

As Alex explained in his article a few weeks ago, you can pre-register for Iron Blade right now! This will ensure you don't miss out on any updates, and are notified immediately once the game releases.

Better yet, pre-registering also means you'll receive special welcome loot once Iron Blade launches! All you have to do is head over to the game’s official site, and sign up with your email address or via Facebook. Remember to follow the game on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube to ensure you don't miss out on any social fun!

A sign of things to come

We ran a little poll on Twitter a while back asking you what you wanted to see more of, and the answer was emphatic – gameplay. We're hoping to do more and more live-streaming, giving you sneak peeks of upcoming titles, and creating more gameplay videos about our games.

Watch this space for more info and, finally, let us know in the comments what you'd like to see more of in the future. See you on Thursday!
