Gameloft Opens New Studio in Seattle

Seattle studio currently hiring for multiple positions

 

Seattle, WA - Gameloft, a leading publisher of digital and social games, today announced the opening of a new studio in Seattle, WA.

 

Gameloft Seattle will develop new projects for the Gameloft catalog, creating the next generation of free-to-play games. Gameloft Seattle joins the Gameloft U.S. studio group – responsible for the recent blockbuster success of Spider-Man: Unlimited and Cars: Fast as Lightning – alongside New York and New Orleans, headed by Samir El-Agili, Vice President of Production for the U.S. and Latin America. The studio has already begun work on new titles with a focus on mid-core, social games.

 

The studio will be led by Studio Manager Michael Fitch, who brings to Gameloft a deep knowledge of online, social, and mid-core gaming. Fitch has a storied background in the industry at Atomic Games, Red Storm Entertainment, THQ, and, most recently, Tencent.

 

“Our vision for this studio is to create a higher standard for the intersection of online, competitive, and socially integrated games,” said Michael Fitch, Studio Manager. “The mobile platform brings unique opportunities with its always-available experiences. We look forward to bringing great games to market.”
