Asphalt Legends Unveils Its Biggest Summer Season Yet!
A brand-new Mount Fuji track, an all-new Drift Mode, three legendary Japanese cars, and an immersive JDM-inspired experience with new Eurobeat music.
Paris, France – July 27th, 2026 – Gameloft, leader in the development and publishing of multiplatform games, is excited to announce that this summer, Asphalt Legends shifts into high gear with the launch of its highly anticipated Japanese-themed Summer Season called Touge Masters. Arriving with Update 52 at the end of July 2026, the season brings an exciting lineup of new content inspired by Japanese automotive culture and JDM aesthetics.
Featuring a brand-new game mode, a stunning new location, iconic vehicles, and an immersive musical layer, this season is designed to deliver one of the most memorable experiences ever introduced into Asphalt Legends.
Master the art of sideways racing with the new Drift Mode
Leading the update is the introduction of the Drift Mode, a brand-new gameplay experience built around precision, style, and high-score competition.
Available as part of the month-long JDM TURBOFEST spotlight event running from July 21st to August 18th, the event embraces a full JDM-inspired aesthetic. Players will collect event items and currency while taking on an all-new challenge: Drift Gates. Successfully drifting through these gates will unlock additional points and push players to chain together stylish, high-scoring runs.
Race through a new destination: Mount Fuji
Update 52 also introduces a breathtaking new environment to the game. The Mount Fuji Track transports players into a picturesque rural Japanese setting framed by snowy landscapes and the iconic silhouette of the mountain in the distance. Built to combine atmosphere, speed, and visual spectacle, the track delivers a fresh racing experience unlike any other in Asphalt Legends.
Three legendary Japanese icons join the roster
No JDM celebration would be complete without iconic cars. This season introduces three legendary Japanese vehicles, each featuring camber wheels and exclusive JDM-inspired liveries:
- Nissan Skyline GT-R R34
- Toyota Supra RZ Mark IV
- Mazda RX-7 Spirit R
These amazing machines have shaped automotive culture for generations and are now ready to leave their mark on Asphalt Legends.
A soundtrack inspired by Japanese car culture
To further strengthen the identity of the season and deliver a fully immersive drift experience, Update 52 will feature a new, high-energy Eurobeat soundtrack. Modern genre icons like Turbo, who created "Sakura Shockwave" specifically for this special collaboration, and Odyssey Eurobeat, who launched a new Asphalt Legends remix of "Overdrive", will add an authentic and nostalgic layer to the drift races around the new Mount Fuji and existing tracks like Osaka. This passionate atmosphere will be headlined by Vtuber IRyS from hololive English and her newest song "My car is in danger", composed by the iconic Dave Rodgers.
With its Japanese-themed Summer Season, Asphalt Legends invites players to embrace speed, style, and drift culture in what is set to become one of the game’s standout moments of 2026.
Get ready to drift. Race. Compete. And conquer the roads of Japan!

About IRyS
A Nephilim who was once the embodiment of hope back in "The Paradise". While she has left to set off on an adventure, she continues to deliver hope through her lyrics and songs, with determination in her voice.
She also bears the precarious and unstable dual nature of a half-demon and half-angel; this phenomenon can be observed on rare occasions, in the form of the most unpredictably yaba—ahem, "surprising", comments from IRyS herself. Bewildering those around her is but another unexpected charm of her duality.
