The pandemic has not been kind to theatres and cinemas. To help stop the spread of the novel coronavirus, movie theatres had to close their doors. However, along with the vaccination rollout and other safety measures in place, cinemas across the globe are getting ready to reopen slowly.

 

Film-lovers and movie theatres are all excited about the reopening, and exciting movies are coming up on the big screen, such as Fast and Furious. That’s right - Fast is back! After several pandemic-related delays, chapter 9 of the Fast and Furious franchise will finally debut on June 25th.

Universal Pictures Mexico partnered with Gameloft for brands for a Special Ops activation on Asphalt 8: Airborne to engage an 18-35 years old audience.

This native advertising campaign comprises two sponsored events that will give players the chance to race with two iconic cars from the movie Fast and Furious saga - the Dodge Challenger & the Ford Mustang Shelby (only in Mexico)! Players will also have the possibility to order their movie tickets directly in the game!

The franchise is also celebrating its 20th Anniversary. Besides being able to have a proper movie experience in the cinemas, fans and race car enthusiasts will have the chance to feel part of the Toretto’s family on Asphalt 8: Airborne.
