The Order and Chaos Online team are continuing to delve into the lives of their Guild Masters in their ongoing series of interviews. Welcome to more Guild Masters' Tales. This time the team is talking ThePizzaBoy of The Saints.

Read more Guild Masters' Tales here.

Don’t dream unless you are willing to do what it takes to make the dream a reality.

And when immense success is achieved, never become complacent, or your greatness will slip away like sand through your fingertips. I have always warned my Guildies that pride and greed are the downfalls of man, and as Kendrick Lamar says, “Be Humble!”

Dear Haradonians, our second interview is with ThePizzaBoy, GM of The Saints. His selflessness and devotion to his team show in every one of his answers which are all focused on players and his Guildies first. He also shares some advice for players about gear, specific classes, and generally progressing in Order & Chaos Online. Read his story below.

GCM: Tell us first about yourself: How old are you, what country are you from, what character is your main toon?

Hey, I’m Nate and I’m in my early 20s. I am from the US and enjoying life here. I’ve been playing OaC since its release (back when it had a monthly subscription). My main characters are my mage M1thrixus (some of the older OaC players will know this name, as I first started a guild with this toon) and my more well-known toon is my monk ThePízzaBøy™.

GCM: Being a Guild Master is hard. It often times could be considered a full time job, so congratulations for getting your Guild this far! How long have you been a Guild Master? How long has your Guild existed and do you have a motto or set of rules you go by?

I have been the Guild Master of ¶_$aīnt$_¶ since 7 years. We have three main rules - respect one another, no scamming or wrongdoing that would ruin the guild’s reputation, and contribute to the guild effectively.

I ensure my members are disciplined and cooperate to achieve any task. When I have gone on breaks or taken vacations, the Admins are responsible. They let me know if anyone is being problematic and I decide what course of action to take. (Side note: Pizza manages 18 Admins altogether!).

If you are a guild leader yourself, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us, we would love to listen to your story!

GCM: How do you balance out your personal goals, helping your new Guildies, as well as keeping an eye on the goals of the whole Guild?

I speak to Guildies (through video chat, phone, or in person) whether any changes or improvements need to be made; and keep a list of these things. We rotate teams often (to prevent elitism). The Admins do an excellent job of dividing responsibilities, like teaching Guildies new content and organizing PVP and PVE teams whenever I’m too busy.

GCM: What would you say is the most special characteristic of your guild? Tell us your story.

Our guild has been around the longest and is only becoming better every day with the hard work all of us put in. We are known for being selfless (donating gold or mats to those in need) and helping strangers (inviting them to dungeon teams, protecting lowbies from gankers, offering advice to anyone that wants to progress). Actions such as these make the guild highly respected, and members are proud to represent a guild that is kind to the majority of people.

Members are also personable and trustworthy towards each other, because of this we can literally talk about anything without being judged and in complete confidence. I have also been very strict about prohibiting drama and there haven’t been any controversies… I’ve also been known for being very outspoken and blunt - I often say what’s on my mind. Speaking up is a good way of letting those around you know what you believe in and want to accomplish.

GCM: Players told us they would like to read more advice to learn from older players. Can you share any general advice (not-class specific) for others on how to advance in the game fast? What should players focus on and in what order?

Players must focus on socializing with a range of people in order to quest together and level up. Upon reaching the level cap, players must start gearing up together. Then, one must raise their crafting level in order to be able to upgrade PVE gear. Camping the Mangler World Boss provides some excellent weapons for newer players to use in dungeons.

GCM: You’ve been playing Monk for a long time. What advice would you give to younger Monks out there? What gear, skills, talents, and other elements are useful for them?

I think healer monk is the most important class in the game. Most monks pay no attention to their gear and, despite having low spell haste, they use Divine Light. The rotation for my spec is using Rapid Heal first then following that with Divine Light (which now has a reduced cast time). Mana is also extremely important, so stock up on wisdom gems.

GCM: Now, can you share any ‘secret’ advice for players? Something that works out great for you but not many players know of? It can be anything from gear and talents to team tactics.

The best advice I can give would be for monks to use restore spells on everyone, because it makes healing a much easier task. Also, carefully read the description of each skill in the talent tree, as certain rotations result in greater effectiveness.

GCM: Going back to your Guild – Do you have any current goals with your Guild? What’s your vision for your guild in the future?

My guild’s current goal is to continue working hard to achieve more. We all are dedicated and show gratitude to those who make things possible. I would love for my guild to last long enough to allow my future grand-kids to be proud Saints.

GCM: Is there anything else you would like to share, or advice to those who want to become Guild Masters?

Two important things I must emphasize are: don’t dream unless you are willing to do what it takes to make the dream a reality; and when immense success is achieved, never become complacent, or your greatness will slip away like sand through your fingertips.

I have always warned my Guildies that pride and greed are the downfalls of man, and as Kendrick Lamar says, “Be Humble!” I also want to thank my friends, my entire guild, and the admins for being there for me.

GCM: Thank you for the interview, good luck with everything and may luck accompany you and your Guildies!

Afterword: Credits for the deceased Admin of The Saints Fran'k aka ZzVegettazZ.

I will be forever grateful to Frank for everything he did. We became a fierce duo in 2s and sometimes queued 4s with my guild. In addition to just playing Order & Chaos Online, we actually got to know each other personally and would spend a lot of time together every day. We considered each other brothers and could talk about anything. I always respected Frank, and people were praising him for being selfless and always willing to help. He got the deserved Admin position.

After a few months, both of us became very busy with work and could hardly communicate. Then, one day, I saw Frank’s friend online. I became excited for a moment, until he told me the bad news - Frank passed away. It was shocking, one of my best Admins and friends died. I conveyed the message to Guildies, and we all mourned the loss. Everyone became depressed, and things have not been the same without Frank. Besides always being there for Frank, I felt I could do a lot more, and he deserves to be honored for not only being one of the best warriors in Order & Chaos Online, but for being such a phenomenal person.
