Gameloft SE and its European subsidiary companies collect, store, and use your Personal Information as data controllers for recruitment processes.
All Personal Information shall be processed in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of Personal Information and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC.
What kind of personal information do we collect?
Gameloft will only collect adequate, relevant and limited personal information called “Applicant Personal Information” in relation to the purposes for which it is processed.
We use the information contained in the application form and any additional Applicant Personal Information that you decide to share with us during the recruitment process, for example information from your personal website or from your LinkedIn profile. We will not collect or use any other information without your prior consent.
Why do we collect your Applicant Personal Information?
Your Applicant Personal Information is collected as part of the recruitment process and will be kept to facilitate the management of the recruitment process and of any subsequent legal challenge to that process.
How long do we keep your data?
Your Applicant Personal Information will be retained by Gameloft following the completion of the recruitment process, and will be stored for a maximum of 2 years on the reserve list. In fact, if your profile does not exactly match our current job offers, we may suggest another position for you in the future. If you want to delete your data, please refer to the “Your Privacy Rights” section.
In the case that you become a Gameloft employee, your Applicant Personal Information will be stored longer, in accordance with local regulatory requirements.
Which technical means do we use to process the personal information?
Applicant Personal Information is stored on internal Gameloft servers. We also use SmartRecruiters' services. Any remote access during the recruitment process is facilitated via the secure HTTPS Internet protocols. Access to Applicant Personal Information is restricted to Human Resources and the internal manager providing support for the recruitment process.
Who has access to your Applicant Personal Information and to whom is it disclosed?
The following categories of person have access to your data:
- Gameloft managers who are offering the job
- The Gameloft Human Resources team and staff providing support for the recruitment process locally at Gameloft entities in Europe or at the headquarters based at 14 rue Auber 75009 Paris, France
- Gameloft providers and their sub-contractors
- Gameloft IT services providing support to Human Resources services locally and at the headquarters in Paris, France
- The Gameloft IT Security team, if necessary
- The Gameloft Audit team
- The Vivendi Audit team, since Gameloft is part of the Vivendi Group
Is some of your Applicant Personal Information transferred outside of the European Union?
Your Applicant Personal Information will be processed in the European Union but may be transferred to the United States and other countries outside of the European Economic Area that may offer varying levels of protection for Personal Information than may be available in your own country. Gameloft Human Resources Provider ensures that all Personal Information is handled, processed, transferred and stored in accordance with the GDPR and that adequate safeguards and procedures providing protection to Applicant Personal Information are in place. When you submit your application, you agree to this Policy and, in particular, you expressly agree to the transfer of your Applicant Personal Information for the purposes described in that policy.
To this end, we use the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses ( http://ec.europa.eu/justice/data-protection/international-transfers/index_en.htm ) with our sub-processors located outside Europe in order to guarantee the privacy and security of your Applicant Personal Information.
Which security measures are in place against misuse or unauthorised access?
The information system is protected against unauthorised use. Only identified and authorised recipients have access to Applicant Personal Information, protected by a login and a password, over a secure Internet or intranet connection. Employees within Gameloft are given access rights corresponding to the requirements of their job and only to the Applicant Personal Information relevant to their purposes.
Your Privacy Rights (Articles 15-22 of the GDPR)
You can exercise your privacy rights at any time and ask Gameloft for access to and rectification or deletion of your Applicant Personal Information. You can also request limitations to the processing of your personal information, object to processing of your personal information, or exercise your right to data portability.
To preserve the confidentiality of your personal information, we must be sure to correctly identify you. For this reason, please provide us with a copy of an official document that can prove your identity. This copy will be safely destroyed within two months of your request being received and closed.

If you request limitations to the processing of your Applicant Personal Information or object to such processing, we may not be able to reply to your job applications.
Please note that some types of Human Resources processing are mandatory parts of your recruitment process with Gameloft.
Gameloft HR teams will receive your request and will answer you within one month unless your request requires further investigation. In that case, you’ll be specifically informed of that situation.
