ABOUT THE JOB

Are you passionate about video games? Do you want to keep progressing in an exciting, young and dynamic environment? Gameloft Montreal, developer of the Modern Combat, Gangstar, Dungeon Hunter and Asphalt franchises is currently seeking a 3D Artist - Character to join our team!

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Creating low and high resolution 3D character models
Creating low and high resolution cloths and character related props
Ability to UV both organic and hard surface models
Collaborating with the Art Director in the creation of consistent, high-quality work

PROFILE

    Requirements

    Experience in video games (minimum of one AAA production)
    Advanced working and technical knowledge of 3DS max and/or Maya, Z-Brush and/or Mudbox is a must
    Knowledge of advanced baking techniques (normal, ao, cavity, spec, gloss)
    Ability to digitally sculpt/model & texture both High & Low polygon characters to a high level of quality
    Advanced knowledge of 2D photo manipulation and painting software (i.e. Photoshop)
    Strong knowledge & understanding of human anatomy, with an eye for accurate proportions, form, and details
    Ability to translate orthographic and concept drawings into fully realized 3D models

    Profile

    Video game enthusiast
    Interest for armor modelling
    Must be interested in creating games for iPad (last generation)
    Knowledgeable in contemporary media (web, games, comics, film, animation, etc.)
    Open-minded and outward-looking
    Auto-Critique;
    Organized and efficient;
    Good critical sense
    Ability to work unsupervised;
    Able to work under pressure.
