Gameloft is happy to announce its contribution to the incredible HELP: The Game. This mobile gaming app is stuffed with five great games, all from different mobile developers. The net proceeds from all purchases and donations go to Children in Conflict in partnership with War Child UK.
War Child UK is a charity that has a strong history of working with the entertainment and game industries to create novel and engaging ways to raise money for children affected by war. In 1993, their The Help Album brought together bands that included Blur, Oasis, Radiohead, and The Stone Roses to create an album that reached number 1 in the charts just six days after its creation began.
HELP: The Game
HELP: The Game is an ongoing initiative by War Child UK in collaboration with Children in Conflict. The charity asks developers to donate a little of their talented creators' time to make small games. These are then sold as a single package, and the net profits generated go to helping children in conflict zones have the childhood they deserve (#YouPlaySoEveryChildCan).
The previous bundle was created for PC and is still available on Steam. This year, however, War Child UK has moved to mobile for the latest installment!
Five of the biggest mobile game developers have contributed to the 2018 edition of HELP: The Game. Together, Wooga, Featherweight Games, Sports Interactive, Rovio, and, of course, Gameloft have created an amazing bundle of titles for you to enjoy.
Our contribution to this package is the wacky ‘Fifty Buddies’. This game has you take control of 50 jelly baby friends. Race them around a track and have them avoid the various obstacles that try to prevent them from reaching their goal - including the dangerous wrecking ball!
We will leave you to pick up HELP: The Game to discover the other four company’s contributions. However, you can be sure each one will keep you playing! You can also find out more about it on the official site (#HelpTheGame).
Help through play
You can get HELP now from Google Play, Amazon’s Appstore, and the App Store. On iOS, you can download the game for free with the option of making a donation in -app. On Android, this bundle of games is available for a flat cost of £2.99 (price will change by region).
