It’s the year of the Rooster, and Gameloft’s fantasy hack’n’slash is celebrating it in style in the Temple of Bells. Dungeon Hunter 5’s latest update is stuffed full of fantastic themed content, but the most exciting comes in the form of a Wanted Event that has you hunting the Cockatrix, Yulong Prime.

In this Event you must ring the bells in the temple and defeat the seasonal boss that is terrorizing Valenthia with its army of roosters. Only you can stop it, plus I hear there may be a reward…

This isn’t the only way to get exclusive Chinese New Year Gear and Minions. You can also earn them by fighting the Yulongs. Defeating these treacherous enemies you amass points, enabling you to rise through the leaderboard's ranks and grab loot from lucky Red Envelops.

Celebrate the Year of the Rooster in Valenthia! The year is off to a good start in Dungeon Hunter 5 with this new update: Ring in the New Year at the Temple of Bells and prove your worth in special update-exclusive events. Defeat the mighty Yulong and its army of Roosters!

Cock-a-doodle-woo!

There is a lot of loot to be collected, because dozens of pieces of gear have been added as part of the New Year festivities. Each piece is suitably themed for the season, making it ideal for taking down your feathered foes.

Another way to grab rewards is by jumping into the game’s two new missions. These further expand Dungeon Hunter 5’s huge single player campaign. Good luck!

Finally, your playerbase also received a seasonal overhaul. This event sees your hub area filled with lanterns, shrines, and Pagoda styled buildings.
