Such personal information may include, depending on the licensing arrangement and the user’s interaction with the game, account identifiers, gameplay data, technical information, usage statistics, and customer support information. We do not transfer personal information that is not relevant or necessary for these purposes.

The licensor will process personal information as an independent data controller, as determined by the specific licensing agreement. In all cases, we require licensors to inform the data subjects of this change, process personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws, and to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal information.

Users may obtain further information about these transfers or exercise their data protection rights as described in the “10 – Your rights regarding personal information” section of this Privacy Policy.

However, please remember that no transmission of data over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee the security of your information and do not assume any responsibility for the unauthorized use of, or access to, your information that is under our control.

Artificial Intelligence

We may use artificial intelligence (“AI”) in the creation, development, and operation of our games and related Services.

Its use follows ethical principles similar to those in the EU AI Act, including human oversight, minimizing risks, and ensuring fairness. Our goal is to make your gameplay experience better and safer while respecting your rights and privacy.

We consider a user to be a child if they are under the age of 13 or under another age specified by applicable regulations.

If we consider that any of our Services are directed at users under the minimum legal age required in their country of residence, we can block such users from using the Services or from providing information and/or limit the collection of information from such users as described below in more detail.

No personal information should be submitted to Gameloft by users under the minimum legal age required in their state of residence. We apply the following limitations to personal information collection for a user that is not of the minimum legal age required in their state of residence.

You may opt out of activities that we engage in that constitute “targeted advertising,” “sharing,” or “sales” of personal information under State Privacy Laws:

  • Cookies and Similar Technologies: You can opt out of ad targeting through cookies and similar technologies (1) within Games by accessing “Manage My Choices” within the app settings, and (2) on our website by clicking the link in the footer of our website titled “Manage your cookie choices.” Your opt-out choice will be linked to your browser only; therefore, you will need to renew your opt-out choice if you visit our website from a new device or browser, or if you clear your browser’s cookies.
  • You can also opt out by visiting our websites with a legally recognized universal opt-out signal enabled, such as Global Privacy Control.

Access, Correction, and Deletion

You have the right to (1) request to know more about and access your personal information, including in a portable format, (2) request deletion of your personal information, and (3) request correction of inaccurate personal information.

To request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, please use this form or send your request to DataProtectionSupport@gameloft.com. To authenticate your request, we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity before completing your request.

Non-retaliation

We will not retaliate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

Appeals

If we deny your request, you may appeal our decision by contacting us at DataProtectionSupport@gameloft.com. If you have concerns about the result of an appeal, you may contact the attorney general of the state in which you reside.

Authorized Agents

If you are an authorized agent seeking to make a request to opt out of sales, sharing, or targeted advertising on behalf of a consumer, please fill out this form or email us at DataProtectionSupport@gameloft.com.

If you reside in California, you may also designate an authorized agent to submit an access, deletion, or correction request on your behalf. We may ask authorized agents to submit proof of their authority to make a request, such as a valid power of attorney or proof that they have signed permission from the consumer who is the subject of the request. In some cases, we may contact the individual who is the subject of the request to verify their own identity or confirm the authorized agent has permission to submit the request. If you are an authorized agent seeking to make an access, correction, or deletion request on behalf of a California resident, please fill out this form.

12 – Third-party services

External Services

The Services may link to external sites that are beyond our control. This Privacy Policy only covers the way we treat personal information and non-personal information we collect on the Services. By accessing any external sites, you agree to the privacy policies of those sites. Please understand that external sites may have different policies with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of your personal information. We have no control over, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of such third parties.

Therefore, you are encouraged to review the privacy policies of all third-party services. Without limiting anything in the following section, we are not liable in any way for the actions, inactions or policies of any external services.

Third-Party AI Assistance Features

Some operating systems and platforms (such as Microsoft Windows and Google Android/ChromeOS) may include built-in or optional artificial intelligence features, including but not limited to Microsoft Gaming Copilot, Google Play Games Sidekick, and other current or future system-level AI assistants (“AI Assistants”). These AI Assistants may provide contextual in-game help or analysis by processing information displayed on your device, which may include screenshots, screen content, text, gameplay elements, or other information visible on screen.

These AI Assistants are operated and controlled by the respective platform providers, not by us. We do not initiate, request, or control any information collection performed by such AI Assistants, nor do we receive, access, or store any information that they may process unless expressly stated otherwise in this Privacy Policy.

Where active, these AI Assistants may process on-screen content using techniques such as optical character recognition (OCR), image analysis, or text extraction for the purpose of providing contextual assistance, improving their services, or other purposes determined solely by their providers. Such processing is subject to the privacy policies, terms, and settings of the relevant platform provider, who acts as an independent data controller for that processing.

If you do not wish for AI Assistants to access or process on-screen content from our game, you may disable these features through your operating system or platform settings where available. Please consult the applicable platform provider’s documentation for instructions and further information about how they process your information and how to exercise your privacy rights with them.

We encourage users to review and manage their device and platform privacy settings. As these system-level AI features are developed and updated by third parties, their functionality and data processing practices may change over time.

Therefore, please review this Privacy Policy from time to time so that you are aware when any changes are made to it. Your continued use of the Services after such change(s) constitutes your acceptance of any such change(s), and if you do not accept any changes, you may choose not to use the Services or opt out by sending us appropriate notice.
