SENIOR QA ENGINEER
QA ‐ Guadalajara MEXICO
ABOUT THE JOB
Develop test plans, test cases, test reports, automated test scripts/modules.
Assist in the creation, documentation, implementation and maintenance of the Quality Assurance process required to ensure the quality of the game .
Proactively provide quality defect information and supporting documents to the development team. Follow up with them to fix the problems and retest to ensure adherence to high quality standards of the deliverables.
Conceive new test methodologies, introduce new tools to improve test coverage, and be aware of automated test tools that could be used in embedded environment.
Work closely with developers and producers for problem analysis and resolution.
Work closely with the QA department to help them achieve their goals.
Work onsite, embedded within the development team, developing an integrated testing framework in parallel to the game in development.
Assist in the supervision of project design and development to maintain state of the art gameplay and quality.
Initiate, foster and maintain positive working relationships with local and international teams.
Play as much as you can to ensure the best quality for your game.
3+ years experience with software QA methodology, tools, and must have excellent debugging skills on both iOS and Android.
3+ years experience working as a QA Engineer.
A proven ability to produce award-winning products or games in a fast paced environment.
Excellent understanding of C/C++ and coding in general.
Strong understanding of software/game QA best practices.
Self-motivated, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
Must be able to remain test focused whilst embedded within a development team.
Ability to think creatively, work well independently, and as a team player.
Extensive knowledge and passion about video games.
Creativity and practicality to find the best solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure progress.
Highly motivated and able to learn quickly.
